I graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2013 with BSc 1st class Honours in Natural Sciences with an ERASMUS Year spent at Complutense University in Madrid. Major subjects studied were Biology and Psychology and I also learnt Spanish.
I am currently an Undergraduate Fellow of the British Ecological Society and a member of the BES Citizen Science Special Interest Group. My academic interests include citizen science, conservation and ecotourism.
My passion for worldwide travel has led me to interesting destinations around the world and to explore diverse cultures. My choice to take a gap year before University to travel in South America was the best decision I ever made and I definitely caught the travel bug. I am lucky enough to have travelled extensively in Europe, South and Central America, South-East Asia, South Africa and the USA. I have organised several backpacking trips, numerous weekend visits to Spanish cities and Snowsports holidays.
I am enthusiastic about outdoor activities and in my free time I currently climb, kayak, ski and snowboard.
